About Us

The Center Street Quartet was founded on the belief that vocal chamber singing is a transformative experiment in connection and expression for both performer and listener. The Quartet performs unaccompanied vocal repertoire spanning from the Renaissance to today, infused with storytelling to connect with fluid and unique audiences. Current students at the Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University, the four members have extensive and diverse performance and professional experience to bring to this shared creatively collaborative endeavor.

Soprano and Ensemble Manager Caitlin Glastonbury is a vocalist and arts administrator focused on new music artistry, vocal pedagogy, and recital curation. They have a deep love for chamber collaboration, and actively create opportunities to inspire creative connection. They are a Masters of Music candidate in Voice Performance and Pedagogy and hold positions in ensemble singing, community engagement, marketing, and assistive technology in Baltimore, and work for the Aspen Music Festival and School on their summer staff.

Alto Delaney Stewart is a third year undergraduate student specializing in vocal performance. As a performer, she has equal interest in historic works and contemporary pieces, having premiered several compositions at the Peabody Institute. As a member of the New Contemporary Tonality Collective, she strives to bring new vocal literature into the light. Delaney also has a marked interest in recital programming, having been a part of a creative committee responsible for designing a staged performance of art songs in support of environmentalism.

Tenor Will Myers is a singer and choral conductor. In all his music making, he explores the potential of music as a recreative process that draws people together and inspires deeper thoughts and feelings. Will is a co-founder and artistic director of New Choir of Mt. Vernon, a volunteer choir centered on new, secular choral music and dedicated to the enrichment of its local community. A member of the inaugural class of graduate choral conductors at the Peabody Institute, he will earn a graduate performance diploma in 2026 under Beth Willer.

Zachary Brecht is a versatile conductor and vocalist based out of Baltimore, is currently pursuing a master’s degree in choral conducting under the tutelage of Dr. Beth Willer. At Peabody, Zachary performs with the NEXT Ensemble and is a graduate assistant for the choral area. Passionate about public outreach, he has been active in bringing diverse musical experiences into the community through projects with the UI REACH Choir & and the VII-i Ensemble. For the 2024-25 season, Zachary is excited to be serving as the conducting intern with the Handel Choir of Baltimore.

Let’s work together.
